I am a 27 year old music producer based in England. I have a degree in Audio & Music Technology and am highly proficient in using many different types of compositional tools and techniques for various media applications.

I feel I can offer quality original material while consistently meeting time constraints without fail and keeping a strong focus on the project requirements. I enjoy a challenge and will be especially motivated to work creatively on projects that are in some way ambitious or innovative.

I consider my compositional and sound design talents to be quite broad. Able to cover many moods from the upbeat to the melancholic, I specialise in creating music that is in any way emotionally moving and could match how a player would feel.

Here are some examples of my musical output:

These two suggest a kind of dreamy yet melodic nostalgia;

This is a chirpy 8-bit style one influenced by the catchy tunes of that era of gaming;

This is a sad ambient piece in an orchestral style;

Sorry to be a sour cynic, but your work samples are pretty horrible. :O

I'd say they're not to everyone's taste. However, the first two have a real 1970s BBC2 feel, very 'nerd cool'. :geek

I personally wouldn't have a use for these types of track, but I'm happy for them to be here in case anyone does need a niche composer.

I've been looking for an audio designer for the last little while now but my only problem is that I've run into a lot of dead ends with composers expecting to be paid and what not. I'm also pretty picky, and as bad as that is, I take advantage of that to try and find the best I can. I like the last few songs you posted, but not really the first few. Anyway's I am looking for some music for my portfolio piece at school and maybe we could work together to create something real nice.

If your interested let me know and we'll talk.

What about gameplay-suitable sound design? You should share some of your shorter & brief sound work (the stupid common stuff, like door swings and gunshots). I can also see some talent that could be useful for ambiance and interesting "spices" to texture soundscapes of a large variety. I think you should listen to the Age of Empires soundtrack (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... ires%20OST) to get ideas of what I mean. Of course this doesn't need to just be for games with an ancient/medieval setting. If you use a lot of creativity I'm sure you can compose great and possibly memorable original soundtracks.
