I've mentioned that a friend of mine started learning Unity. Starting out as an animator he's learned enough about programming in Unity to create a pretty cool game called Block Boy. If you have the Unity web player junk you can check the game out here:

The graphics style and animations are nice. The controls are horribly floaty and unprecise, especially since this is a game that depends on tight controls. Even in the gameplay video they had a problems landing correctly when they shouldnt. Looks like a decent start though.

Yeah I definitely agree about the controls. Pretty much anyone who plays it struggles with the controls.
