Music Generator v0.1 by Dial-Up
Generates MIDI sounds, semi-randomly. The notes will tend to go up or down sort of smoothly, and mostly gravitate towards a central note. The notes will occasionally go very high, or very low, but they will always find their way back to the central note.
127 different instruments are available, some musical, some just weird sounds. For now, the lengths of all notes are uniform, but the length can be varied if you wish to have a slower or faster song.
On startup, a random instrument will be chosen.
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) v1.5.0, or higher
How to Use
1. Download the Music Generator
2. Double-click on the downloaded file. If it doesn't do anything, see 2b.
2b. Go to the command prompt, find the directory the file is in, then type "java -jar music.jar"
Changing instruments or speeds will sometimes cause the MIDI player to stop functioning. I have no idea why it does this, and the only way I can find to fix it is to restart the program. I made the program choose a random instrument on startup though, so you're not always stuck with the same few instruments.
