The Java Monkey Engine, also jMonkey or jME for short, is a powerful 3D engine geared primarily at games. Being completely open source and entirely written in Java, jMonkey allows for rapid and unrestrained development for any capable java monkey.

Help Needed

Android Programmer [1]

Passionate about java in game development
5+ years experience in Java
1+ year experience in [game-] engine programming OR in game programming
Intricate knowledge of the Android system
6-12 hour commitment a week.

Will be co-leading the development of JME3, the next generation branch of the engine.

Since jME is an open project, anyone can be a 'contributor', however a certain level of commitment is expected of an official jME developer. The more reliable developers the more certainty we can apply to our roadmap and project goals.
