Brief description:
I'm gathering a team for a long-term project to work on a sports entertainment type MMO. This will be an unpaid project at start-up, however, if the project becomes funded, all personnel will be kept and a payment agreement will be developed. The purpose of the team is to develop and design a first-of-its-kind sports entertainment MMO based on professional wrestling. There will be no copyright infringement in the game as all characters, both PC and NPC, are custom. A game design document with more detailed information will be sent out to all team members once the team has been defined and all have signed confidentiality agreements.

Target aim:
The long-term goal for this is for it to become a retail product.

Compensation:
This project is unpaid, however, if funding becomes available, all current team members will receive portions of the funding.

Technology:
The target system for this game is the PC. The programming language and other technology behind the game will be discussed and decided by the team once the team is formed.


Talent needed:
I do not have a set limit of people that I need at this point. However, the positions needed are:

Game Designers - Will contribute to the design and functionality of the game. Prefer at least 1-2 years of experience here.

Game Programmers-(Any language at this point, we'll decide on the final language
of the game once the team is formed) - Prefer at least 3-4 years of experience on your desired programming language

Writers - Will contribute to the storyline of the MMO. At least 1-2 years of experience required

Audio Technicians- Will design all music and sound effects for the game. Need at least 2-3 years of experience. Remember, no copyrighted material can be used.

Artists- I need 3D Modelers and artists that are capable of creating custom artwork for both the scenery in the game and the characters, both NPC and PC. This game will have a robust character creation screen, so please keep this in mind when applying. Let me know what kind of artwork you'd like to contribute to (Scenery, Objects, NPCs, and Character Creation). This person needs to have 4-5 years of experience or be extremely good at what they do if they have less experience.

Legal Advisor- This is not a must for this project to go through, but this would be very helpful for me and lighten my workload a bit. This person would be responsible for handling copyright and trademark issues, such as making sure our work is protected from being stolen. This person needs to have a Law degree and have at least 1 year of experience. Again, please remember this is a non-funded project at this time.


Team structure:
At this point, I have 0 people. So I'm looking at everything here. I have a little knowledge of programming, but not enough to make anything happen. My main role at this point is to assist with the game design and writing and make sure the other team members' work and ideas are considered and included in the game. I will also do the website design.

Again, this is the start of a what I hope to be a major project. I do not have any funding at this time, just a big idea. I think what I have in mind for this project could be huge, however, I need help to do it. Once I have a team formed and notified of their selection as team members, I will send out confidentiality agreements to protect myself and the team. Once those are signed, I will send out the detailed initial game design document to the team so they can see what it is I hope to accomplish.
