I do not want to spill around links yet (the game is in Dutch anyway), but this is what we made in 1.5-2months of spare time! So after working hours we worked on this project. The result is quite good! The deadline of the contest was ofcourse a day too early - as usual -
So it has been quite stressful the last days. I think we did an amazing job considering the tight schedule. About 5 people worked on the game, but the times spent on various items is ofcourse quite different. (Like sounds). Programming and modelling took the most time.
In this game you start with a desert terrain, and by placing flowers and vegetables (which can attack slugs by hitting them with a 'carrot bat', a pumpkin seed, etc) your terrain will become greener and greener. "Pulling away" weeds is also part of your job as gardner. To plant the flowers and plants, the player will need to collect water by placing buckets in the rain.
Screenshots are not the final version and some thing have meanwhile changed. But it does give a nice impression:
