I'm sure most of you have seen it in my signature by now and were wondering, "just what the heck is that?" Well, wonder no more I present to you the new ObtuseGamers.com.

A couple friends and I decided that we play enough games between the three of us to warrant being able to spew our opinions on the internet for all to see. We wanted to keep the tone light so the reviews are irreverent and littered with sarcasm. We grade things on a letter grade scale because none of us are really keen on the number system. We're honest to a fault in our reviews, so hopefully by the time you get to the conclusion you'll know why we gave it the score we did.

Right now we're working on getting capture cards so we can get real screen shots up. Also, we're fully aware that most of the reviews are of 360 or PC games, we're looking at getting a couple PS3's and maybe a Wii sometime in the future.

So, that being said any constructive criticisms are more than welcome. Any idea's for features, articles, suggestions for games we should take a look at?

Hey guys, we completely revamped the website so that it is easier to navigate and find older articles (google analytics told us that unless it was on the front page no one would bother reading it.) Drop by and let us know what you think.


Oh, and just FYI some of the language in it is rather colourful so be warned.

I don't know, man. Have you ever read YouTube comments or even the comments on 1up and IGN. We don't have time to moderate the site all day. If people have comments or concerns the can always just email us.

If you have the time, how about a discussion forum that moderators can pick comments out of to appear on the main review then? Similar to how TDWTF works You can then have free moderation with a mod team and still have comments on your reviews (just only ones that are decent )
