Agreed! I'm planning on having different movement speeds, rotation speeds, armor values and subsystem capacities for each chassis. Also, I'd like to put in "speeding up" and "slowing down" for movment and possibly rotation to give a more natural feel. That may involve some at-run-time sound distortion, which I'l need to look into.
Interesting idea with the 2 tank treads, would be a neat challenge to try and work that into the control scheme.
