It's been almost a year since my last post and now I proudly present Alien Anarchy, the game I've made together with the artist.

It's a defense shooter with an RPG system. Space voyagers made a crash landing on a distant planet and faced the furious indigenes.

This is a pretty compelling game. The ui looks and feels more complicated than it should be though. There's seem to be a lot going on, when in fact you're pressing the same 5 buttons all over again each wave. A bit more simplicity on that side would be nice.

Gameplay wise it's mh.. a nice timewaster. nothing i'd personally play for enjoyment. There's just not enough going on. Point and click the mouse is not all too engaging, even though it got more interesting when you got more weapons at your disposal.

The crafting system is a cute idea, but it looks like it just got added for the craftings sake. It doesn't seem like there's different combinations of a certain color, so it's only match 3 of a certain color to get item. This also results into getting littered with items you don't care about and don't even bother to look at. It just makes it feel like a weak design choice.

Overall good job! Congrats on finishing it!

PS: The 'Unbelievable' shoutout got ridiculous after getting the grenadelauncher.

I enjoyed playing this. It fits the profile of an nice casual fun flash game. I will have to agree with weezl that the crafting system is more of gimmick then anything else, you might as well just get a random drop at the end of the battle. It would be nice if there was something more to it.

I played only for about 5 levels i think cause i am kinda in rush now, but it looked like the bosses are repeating itself too much, even at level 5 it was the same guy with maybe slightly more health, if anything he could be accompanied by something special to that boss, like it could be a ninja boss with 4 ninjas around him? Maybe you have that and I just didn't get there though...

Also i find the voice acting a little bit annoying after a while. Its fine and all but theres too much of it to every small single event and that makes it kinda overused.

but overall i liked it :) and I had to force my self to stop playing it cause I don't have the time right now :d

Nice work! Managed a quick play tonight.

I think the gameplay might need some balance tweaks. I never felt like I was in danger of getting overrun. However, I didn't play for long. The slow fire rate of the gun was the biggest bugbear for me.

Faster fire rates or a noticeable powerup, with more enemies and a steeper difficulty curve would make this even more compelling IMO.

A good job though, very slick and well presented.
