Just tried tracert like you asked. Guess what IP address showed up for www.gpwiki.org... :confused

I've tweaked the DNS and added an A record for WWW rather than a CNAME. I can't see that making any difference, but I can't see anything else to try.

I'll give it 24 hours to filter through.

Right, worked it out. The nameserver at my host was still directing DNS queries at the old site. I've had a chat with the techs and done some fiddling on the old site's control panel. It should be sorted fairly soon.

OK, the nameserver at my host is no longer resolving gpwiki.org at all.

Those of you who were having problems, does http://www.gpwiki.org show the DNS message or the Cookie message?

It's all works fine for me. I only experienced problems with it once which I mentioned last month.

Going to www.gpwiki.org redirects me to a XILO Web hosting page. :confused

Do an
Code:
IPCONFIG /ALL
and let me know what the DNS server addresses are.

Codehead, just so you know: My DNS gateway has apparently (finally) gotten the right records, as tracert resolves to GPWiki through IP address 95.172.238.23 :)

Thank $DEITY for that! :thumbs I was really beginning to get worried about how to sort that out. Thanks for letting me know and saving what's left of my hair.

I guess your ISP DNS is just a little slow to update. The servers are named DNSCacheNN so they're probably not actively looking for stuff, just using the last known good lookup.
