Thanks guys. I think I'll focus on Legacy (the sequel) and leave Legends largely as it is. Java2D has several limitations that really held back the game in the presentation and creativity department. I'll create a ModDB profile for Legacy in a month or two so that you can get an idea of how the entire battlesystem has been totally revamped. It has a consoley, nintendoish vibe due to all the colour and explosions and particle effects. It being in full screen helps the 1080p artwork really 'pop'.

Hi guys. Another quick update, version 0.7 has been added to the official Ubuntu Software Center. This is great, its currently standing at a 4/5 rating (Yay!!!). I'll update the Ubuntu repo with version 0.8, for which I just released an update yesterday. The USC has a much higher attach ratio than any other site I've uploaded to so far, with roughly 70 downloads a day. Currently at ltd.

Well, my game has been free for a year and a half now. Thinking about earning a little cash from it, at least enough to get a new GPU (my beloved Radeon 5670 HD doesn't cut it anymore). Ive settled on a whoping price. As time goes by it'll drop to $2.99 .

For now it will be exclusive to the Ubuntu Software Center, I'll focus on that market and try to build a niche. All other free sources will still be available, but wont be updated by moi anymore :/ Here's hoping this stunt doesn't blow up in my face.

well, you seem to be working on this for a long time so trying to monetize it isnt such a bad move.
I'd say its worth a try
