First draft i made for the main page.
I tried using different tables for the left and right column, but it looks odd, i'll merge them again probably so they align.
I changed the yellow and border colors to fit the blue'ish theme of the forums and the wiki. I thought it was kind of distracting.
What i did for now is checking each pages click count. Some have ridiculously low clicks (4000 result in about one click per day, but many of them are even below that).http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12237727/GPWikiMainpageClickCount.txt
Special attention to "Community - How you can help", this is not 123k, just 123. I renamed it to Contribute
for now. Any better ideas?
The People site seems fairly useless. It lacks a lot of content, and wikipedia is a better resource for that. I'd suggest getting rid of it.
Most of the peoples articles are wikipedia entries anyways, the few that exist in our wiki are mostly 2 liners.
* Comunity - Image of the day
* Community forums cell entirely
If we can use the banner from the homepage in the wiki, those will be redundant anyways.
What i rearranged
* Split entries for language/library/language agnostic tutorials in the gameprogramming cell
* Renamed "Tools" to "Third party tools and libraries" and moved Libraries and Engines to it, so the focus of the gameprogramming cell is entirely on programming
I will give it some more thought in the next couple days and advance this draft
Lemme know what you think
