A limited (1000 user) Linux beta for Steam will take place in October.

As an OpenGL person, I'm pleased to see Linux finally becoming a viable gaming platform.

I'm curious how much the game catalogue will change though, not a lot of games support multiplatform right now. Although i'm looking forward to future development towards multi platform gaming. Definately a good thing
