Would anyone here know how to get started with flash?

Free IDE's, Good Tutorials for Beginners ect...

Been searching google and yahoo but havent found many useful things :(

If you don't want to pay a crapload of cash, the Flex SDK is what you want. You can use that in conjunction with an IDE like FlashDevelop to build your Flash apps.

Alternatively, you could lean to HTML5 and JavaScript, which is becoming more and more like Flash. It is pretty bleeding-edge and not as widely supported, though.

I just got into face book haha... So ive been playing the games on there and im like, wow really i can make much better games then this...

So thats all, i wanted to see what i could do with flash :)

Adobe does offer you a trial version of Flash Creative Suite, which lasts for 30 days. It should be long enough to play around with the IDE and ActionScript, if you've never touched it before. If you're a student, you can buy the student version for around $150 from memory (academic use only) or the educational version for around $400 (you can use it for commercial use, but need to be a student). The professional version is a bit pricey.

Then as already mentioned there are a few open source tools available. I did try FlashDevelop but I much prefer the actual Adobe IDE.
