im looking to screenshot fullscreen games, all anticheats are off as it will be LAN servers.

This program will be running on all computers 24/7 as i run small LAN comps (in a school).
Last time i done this we had a few cheaters on, and i would like to ban them from any future comps if they use cheats.

This isn't really a game programming question. Also, how are they using cheats if they're school computers? Aren't you controlling what's installed on them?

They were able to bring in some kind of portable cheats. I am one of the computer teachers, and even though I know how to block files etc, its the schools tech which does this, and he only works from 12-3. Also even if he blocked the exe name, they could simply rename the exe and it would work again.

I'm unsure of which cheat they're using, but from what other students say it was visible on their screen.

So i have started building in the screenshot module into the launcher we use for CSS.

Can't you use FRAPS or similar?

You have to press a button to use fraps, and if you can put it on a timer, I would rather not have to buy over 60 licences of fraps... as its a school I cannot put a cracked peice of software on.

It was a bit of a mission to set up, but quite a few years ago I got taksi to work for capturing video. http://taksi.sourceforge.net/ It's free so you don't have to worry about license cost.

VNC might also do the job. A quick Google of 'vnc remote screen shot' brings up plenty of options.

If other people can see their screen directly and tell if they are cheating why do you need to take remote screenshots? Don't just ban them from future tournaments. Kick them out then and there before they even finish the match.

Surely them being humiliated by their classmates for being cheating scrubs and being bad at the game is enough deterrent.

Also, why can't you leave anti-cheats on? I am pretty sure even a LAN server can require VAC to be enabled.
