I find I prefer Fedora over Ubuntu. I have had no hardware problems such as those reported here. Some things, though, are a bit of a pain (not being able to edit the Apache html folder/files without going to terminal and using su or sudo with gedit or whatnot). I also haven't managed to get it running as I want it (as a dummy Internet/intranet portal), but that's due not to the quality of the system, but to the quality of the administrator.
