Sorry, this is not an Eclipse forum. Go look for Eclipse-exclusive help (forums dedicated to that particular IDE, etc.)

I didn't run into any issues like that when I had an Android eclipse project. But I did have some issues that I had to resolve by starting eclipse with the -clean command line parameter. Forces it to rebuild its book-keeping. You'll probably have better luck googling for this problem or, as a last resort, abandoning the project and starting over.

This is not an Eclipse forum... but it IS a forum concentrating on mobile game programming, and Eclipse is a common IDE used for Android development. Thus, the question is appropriate.

Also, next time someone needs help like this, please give a few examples of how one might find information. Many perceive it as rather rude to simply tell someone "you aren't doing right" as opposed to taking a little more time to make sure you cover a few bases. Please try and treat all users' questions as legitimate until there is reason to assume otherwise. :)

I don't follow your logic here.

As a general advice, I think pointing the OP to the Eclipse forum was the right thing to do. He did not ask anything specifically game-related, and the Eclipse forum is much more knowledgeable on details of its software. It also has many more users, so the OP will get a response much quicker.

Just like you won't answer questions on how to switch on a computer (even if such a device is quite generally used for programming computer games :p )

Eclipse is a common IDE used for Android development. It's not an actual programming issue, per se, but it closely related. The C++ forum is loaded with questions on linker/library errors and so on. Those are no less legitimate than the question posed in this topic.

I'm not debating the validity of the advice in the first reply. However, I don't see a problem with its place in this forum. And, you have to admit that the "how to switch on a computer" example is a mighty stretch, here. I'm not saying common sense should be eschewed or anything. :)
