At last, the emulator in the official Android SDK has had an upgrade. :thumbs

Host GPU accelerated graphics and virtualised CPU operation.

I didn't know that the emulator didn't support GLES2.0 (it does now). I was slowly working through a GLES2.0 test project, that would have made for interesting debugging.

Great news, lack of OpenlGL ES2.0 support and laggy response times were incredibly annoying.
