Well I've finally decided that I'm going to start up my company and I've been playing with getting a logo created. I wanted something simple in a nice blue and I came up with this:

Any thoughts or criticisms? I encourage people to be critical however don't just say it sucks, point out what sucks.

It sucks.

Not really. :P I like it. Perhaps the 'Seoushi Games' text is a little to 'busy'? Especially over the smaller squares in the top right. But overall, it's pretty cool.

I think it's simple and sexy. I like it.

I put a lot more time into this one working off my simpler design.

#1 is the best, but #4 might beat it without the underlined letters.

I like that one best. My only crit is that the corners seem to be stretched rather than pure quarter-circles.

I really like this one. Very slick. :) The only suggestion I can make is to make it so that the whitespace between the bamboo segments and leaves is a bit thicker, but it's one of those old preference things. ;)

nice, but as I found out with logos, they need to vectored so they resize easily. Not sure how important it is though.

I like the second one a lot, but I did like the flashy text in the first one. Depends on the image you're going for; the first text seems more 'freestyle', if that makes any sense. But I will warn you: On ym first glance at your first one, I thought it said 'Seoushi Frames'.

Keep in mind though that the dimensions of the secone one (or any logo for that matter) may not always work, so you may need to redesign it a bit. But if you do, keep the style consistent. That's just extrapolation on my part though; I suppose it might not be an issue if you just designed around it.

Incidentally, is this to be a complete development team and if so, do you have any members?

thread necro... this topic is over 3 months old, for a fairly time sensitive issue :P

Er... right... Wasn't paying attention.

...I don't parse months and dates very quickly, so I usually don't pay attention to them >_>
