Here's a texture I made last night. I'd like some opinions on it (i.e. if it looks good, or if there's something you'd change, etc.), so check it out and let me know what you think!

looks good, here is a little criticism if your interested however.

The bricks seem to look separate from the base material instead of sticking out and the grout seems quite thick but that just personal taste I guess.

Indeed, pretty impressive. I suppose there is quite some interested in textures and stuff on iStockphoto. Gina is selling an incredible LOT of stuff there.

I tried tiling it, and it looks a little odd because the markings are prominent enough and the texture small enough that it looks obviously tiled.

Yah sweet texture, but as said it looks rather obviously tiled. You make the gashes very bit and the busted parts of the walls are very eye catching when tiled.

I'd recommend copying that and taking the 'identifying' gashes and imperfections out, then use the original as a 'flavor' tile; when tiling a whole wall you really want to avoid 'unnatural' marks or 'blemishes', otherwise they'l be repeated in an unnaturally uniform pattern :P
