this is sandie. i have coded many games but don't know how to open .wav or .mp3 file can anyone tell me the prosedure.

.wav should be built into the sound api of your language if it has one, as .wav is uncompressed sound. .mp3, you generally want a library for as the algorithm isn't nice to code yourself :) (not to mention the licence issues)

try using a sound library.. there are lots of open-source ones...
