I tried it out and it works, and my components went in no problem. I get 600+ fps looking at the menu using my framerate counter. However, when I made it go fullscreen the buttons don't scale and there seems to be a bug with their location when I toggle fullscreen on/off (which also changes the resolution with my window manager).

Do you have any of this in a state where you'd like to contribute it to the project? :)

I edited the team members down to those I believe are willing to work on this. If you're name isn't on the list let me know. :)

New version is up with a placeholder model and rough version of some gameplay classes.

Hello Machaira, just replying to your email (sorry I'm late.) Sounds interesting.

Doe the benefit of others here are some links to musical pieces I've created, and a link to my electronic music band's website which features lots of tracks.

BG42 menu music 1

Tribes Vengeance trailer music

An orchestral piece

and my band's website where you can find lots of electronic based music.

Hmm, can't seem to connect to that that from work. I'm not sure if it's the site or my company silly filter. :(

Mach, can you tell me to go do some component? I'm sort of left here wondering what the heck I should work on.

I thought you were busy with doing design stuff. ;) Things are kind of in a state of flux right now. I'm in the middle of working on a GUI system that will provide us with a lot of ability for different screens. Were you ever able to get what I put up running? Have you looked at the code? If so, comments, ideas, questions?

I do both because I feel the need to do something.

hmm, no real comments other than the stuff about private variables :P

let me put it this way: tell me what hasn't been assigned yet, and then I'll try to pick something. I prefer gameplay-level stuff rather than engine stuff simply because it's funner (and easier for me), but I realize that there's nothing really there for gameplay yet. :P

Hello, how ya doin'. :)

Pretty much nothing's been assigned yet. :) There's a lot of things needed - tools for creating data (items, quests, conversations, etc.), level designs (could even be on grid paper at this point), NPC creation (data wise - stats, skills, items, etc). There also things like a combat engine, although without entity data it might be tough to debug. :) Anything in particular you'd like to do?

if this is XNA and open source, I see no reason to put that stuff in data files, just make them "hardcoded" (not really though, it's open source) separate subclasses like the Unreal Engine.

Huh?!? It being XNA and open source has nothing to do with data. Stuff like this should not be in compiled code.
