I dont know how the perception crash would bring new forms to earth, those new forms would theoritcally be of an alternate dimension so I would think the existing creatures on the planet would simply be modified much in the same way the player is. if the local creatures are modified into squarish looking beasts than the player would be too, would be hard for thor to miss if dude had a legoblock head.

heheh, that was just my crappy lack of art skills, because I can't draw curves. :lol

That's still better than I could have come up with. :)

hmmm, I lost these...

hey, somebody mentioned local creatures being modified.
Can you imagine highly aggresive wolves with... thermokinesis?

It would have to be something that doesn't require much, if any, intelligence to use, maybe something more on the physical side. Maybe teeth and claws that have thermokinetic power so attacks are more damaging.

I had the idea of a "dungeon" that's the inside a huge organism, more on this later, I'm gonna sleep.

While it's been done before I don't have a problem as long as it's thoroughly designed.

I kind of had a wierd idea inspired by a dream a few nights ago. It's roughly humanoid, but tripedal. It has an insectlike mouth, and two snake-like mouths for hands (fans included), both of which have very long (~6 feet), powerful flexible tongues which can be used as weapons. It has a cobra-type hood thingy on its back, only it opens up waaaay wider (like maybe 8 feet), and allows it to glide short distances. The head is similar to that of your standard Grey alien, albeit with the insect mouth and compound eyes. In the mouth, it has an Aliens-type punching toungue thingy. In between its eyes, it has a small pit in its forehead, which allows it to sense heat (like a snake).

It's a sort of dark grey/blue color.

Freaky dream.

Anyway, having to fight anibodies, jump over pits of stomach acid, and try your darndest be as far from the large intestine as possible... sounds interesting. :)

ok, 2 intertwined ideas:

A character of possibly extradimensional or alien origin (this should be kept intentionally mysterious (he looks human though)). Perhaps we can call him, "the Nomad". He has extremely powerful psionics-like powers of all kinds. He's quite knowledgeable about the Perception Crash, extradimensional creatures, extradimensional technology, psionics, pretty much anything you can imagine. The Nomad doesn't age. He's neither a good guy nor a bad guy, he just appears at times and is a very uncertain factor. He seems to be limited by some inspecific rules that he doesn't elaborate on if questioned. At times he seems motivated by whim, at others he has some complex plan. His psionic abilities nearly make him the equivalent of a living god. On record, he's had dealings with Thor in the past, they "captured" him in the 2020s, and tried to question him. He thought they were rather impolite, and left when he decided he had better things to do. How does he fit in? Well, here comes the next idea.

Ok, on the subject of the "dungeon" that is an organism.
Why would the organism matter? Well, for obvious reasons, it's dangerous. The USA is busily insisting to the UN and other countries that it has the situation under control (the evil THOR head doesn't want to lose his power to international authorities). Dropping nukes into the middle of the desert would raise some questions. THOR wants to take a tactical nuke into the belly of the beast and set it off. A tactical nuke would be less obvious if detonated underground, it could be blamed on a minor earthquake. This is after the PC has already defected to the Psionics. This creature has killed some important-ish people, including someone that was carrying some anti-psionic technology (which you need to retrieve to prevent it from falling into THOR's hands). The Nomad shows up when the PC goes there, and informs him of a rather unfortunate factor. If THOR detonates the nuclear weapon, the creature's spores will be spread all across the world, greatly worsening the problem. You need to take the poison he gives, and inject it into the creature's heart. You also have to deactivate the nuclear weapon. He disappears mysteriously as soon as he's offscreen, as usual.

Interesting ideas. I'd suggest staying away from cliched names like The Nomad though. Give him a name, even if it's just an assumed human name. We'd also have to be careful not to use him as a deus ex machina though. I would think this would have to happen near the end of the game, possibly right before the finale.

It just popped into my head. It's almost as bad as THOR.

of course not. Hence him not being a good guy or a bad guy, just a guy who shows up here and there, and sometimes feel like maybe doing something.
