Is everyone happy with the logo? Can that job be marked as complete?

Off to the prom tonight, and then the next few days are set aside for recovery :P

Some pictures I found of various weapons -

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m249-short-saw.gif
http://world.guns.ru/sniper/barret-m98.jpg
http://home.snafu.de/l.moeller/Bremse/FN-P90.jpg
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/orion76/spas15.jpg

Spas 15 is more likely than a Spas 12, the MP7 is generally considered better than a P90 (though a P90 is more recognizable.) The barret m98 is the classic sniper rifle, and the M249 SAW is a classic automatic weapon. Some more searching and you could probably find better pictures, but hopefully this helps a little.

I think so. They look good to me :).

Do you want to send me the PSDs or whatever source files you have so I can check them into svn?

[Edit: rflegel at gmail dot com :)]

Twin Desert Eagles would be extremely hard to shoot accuratly... if we have an on-hand off-hand system, there would have to be penalties based on caliber (lowest for deagle would be .357) I guess you would be able to do it, just in D&D terms your strength would have to be 20 ;) (Edit: That article seems to go against what I've heard, and while one handed I still think it would be extremely hard to fire accuratly, it makes you think it might be possible for a well trained psion...?)

Maybe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_seven with a 20/30 clip size also to offset the accuracy would be the right choice? Also, this raises the idea of full metal jacket vs. hollow points... Though, it would probably just be simpler to have everything be FMJ and fudge the physics a little ;) depends on how much realism we're going for here, or if these ideas would even be able to be effectily applied :P

We're dying for people in that area so we'll take what we can get. Some of us have jobs too so we understand.

Don't remind me in my weekend Machaira :(

But the end result is that we'll all become like Ryan, and eventually have people working for us, right? ;) :rofl

I'd appriciate if someone could PM me about what needs to be done (art way that is). Since it's way to much topics+text to read. it would take me all day and I don't even know if everything has been discussed here at these forums.

You say you need a concept artist, right? I have read through all the forum entrys, but I am not sure of the style wanted...

Like.... more cyber-punk? or post-nuclear, a la fallout (guessing not... with the psyonics and what not) or system shock ish? or high sci-fi fantasy style..

slash, do you guys have ANY other concept art to sort of grasp what you have so far?

I'm guessing posy-apocolyptic, and as for the concept art, see Lars's avatar.

I'll be in the process of modeling it once all three views have been developed.

Haven't left yet, I thought we were leaving this morning, but it's actually tonight.
Sort of in between cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic. Cyberpunk in the cities, post-apoc outside them, pretty much.
