On reflection I think the damage outcomes should be simplified to : Miss/Hit/Crit. I feel that
Glance blurs the line between
Miss and
Hit too much. It's neither one thing nor the other. Plus it interferes with
Evasion,which should really be boosting
Miss rather than boosting
Glance.
Also, I've reduced the perspective on the mockup I made. The floor is shaded darker close to walls. I think the lower wall height is quite nice.
