Hello,
In the development of my game I'm wondering what's the best way to build my user interface.
The 3 facts to know:
- It's mainly settings windows
- bitmap based
- driven only by keyboard

As a picture is thousands word, here is what I have to achieve:
Image

1) How to create/manage the bitmap buttons, their ON/OFF states
2) How to manage the navigation between them (with cursor keys)

I know that my question is "wide" ;-) So thanks for any kind help or link to a tutorial on that subject!
Thank you!

Are you sure this MAME interface was written in Visual Basic or did you post this in the wrong forum? Just checking...

The application was initially written in ActionScript and "compiled" using Zinc from mDm.
I'm now porting it to VisualBasic. The main stage is written and working, with the exact same look that you can see on the picture...excepted the "preferences" and "keyboard" windows that I'm currently working on !

(sorry for posting twice, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that I was "logged" as guest, at the first time)
