I'm new to vb and developing a game. I am making a game similar to the worlds hardest game, however, I can't figure out how to make the form restart when it hits an object or when a moving object hits it. The object just moves right through my player. Can anyone give me sample code on how to fix this?

We could give you sample code, but it probably wouldn't be relevant to you. What's your code look like so far?

Could I share my code with you? I think objects coming close to hitting each other but not actually hitting each other is a better way to display basic physics in my opinion.

So a bounce code is your situation if I'm not mistaken and splitting halves will get you nowhere fast. Probably, the first order of motion equations in physics would benefit you if you haven't come across them already, but avoid the complex calculus and focus on the squares and cubes.

I don't understand why you would want the form to "restart".
